Your MC and one other person gets lost in the wilderness after having angered a giant beast that is now searching for them and trying to eat them. They also forgot their pants. And then it starts raining.

Sajiko yelped, seeing Allen trip ahead of him into some bushes. “Are you okay?” He asked, wondering just how Allen's form had been covered up in the plants so quickly.

“I'm fine.” Allen groaned, shifting up and brushed his bare legs off. Standing in a sparsely populated forest- with mostly ground cover about- in just a dress-shirt and boxers... Well he didn't look 'fine'. Sajiko was in a similar predictament though, dressed in a heavy sweater and his boxers, but he at least was used to walking on the fresh earth.

Allen trudged ahead, aiming for a clearing in the brush. Sajiko followed without a word. They had slipped and fallen into a river- well Sajiko had- off of a bridge as they were trying to get away from a very large angry wild boar the could hunch upright similar to a monkey, a bourkey.

“This continent is strange.” Sajiko commented, finally stepping out onto the mossy-grass of the clearing. Allen was peering up above them, his hand shielding his eyes from the sunlight.

“Yeah, well bourkey's usually don't try to eat humans.” Allen commented to him. He looked down at Sajiko- feeling a pang in his chest as his eyes caught sight of the black legs that would turn to a porcelain white at the knee. “...They do kinda like demons though.”

Sajiko frowned, looking back over his shoulder worriedly. “Do you think it's following us?”

“Nah,” Allen waved his arm. “This way,” and he started off again, taking wide steps into the brush toward a large tree with many limbs.

Hesitant, Sajiko followed him. When he got to the tree, he'd lost sight of Allen. A piece of bark and a few leaves fluttered down from above, catching his red eyes. “Allen?” he asked, looking up into the limbs.

“Get up here.” came the familiar voice.

Sajiko peered around for the lowest branch, making a small jump to reach it. With a bit of difficulty, he hoisted himself up so he was hanging with his arms wrapped around the limb before looking up to see how far Allen had gone.

Allen had already made it a third of the way up the very tall tree- which wasn't unusual in this forest. Sajiko could see his goal just barely- a branch with two others very close to it, wide enough to support both of their weight if they stuck near the trunk.

With a chuckle in his throat, Allen called down to him without looking, “Don't fall.”

Sajiko puffed his cheeks out a bit and pulled himself up onto the branch. “I came from the forest-- my whole village lived in treehouses!”

“Yeah, yeah,” Allen replied sarcastically. “But there's no floorboards here, so be careful.”

“You be careful!” Sajiko answered, smiling. This playful banter was making the time pass easier as he was starting his ascent, going from one branch to another. He used his hands to test if the branch could hold him first, before pulling himself up and grounding his feet onto the bark.

“Wow what a view,” Allen mused. He was sitting up on the branch he'd been aiming for, a leg swung over each side with his back to the trunk. He could make out the tops of trees above him in the canopy, and listened as birds sang their songs.

“It's raining,” Sajiko said, just a few branches below him.

“Yeah, but we'll be okay.” Allen looked down. When the young man was close enough, they joined hands and Allen helped hoist him up onto the branch. He wrapped his arms around Sajiko's middle, holding him close. “How's your feet?”

“Sore.” Sajiko whined, looking out as the rain thickened, their shirts dampening and their hair falling flat. Within minutes, it looked like they'd never gotten out of the river with how wet they were. When Allen tugged Sajiko to lean back against his chest, the boy countered by lifting his feet so they were propped up onto the trunk, his knees close to his stomach.

I admit, xD It was fun writing that Sajiko had to climb a tree after Allen.
